These values help fuel our decisions and drive our desires into the future. They also give those around us a chance to see what makes Mosaic "go."

EFFECTIVE PRAYER
Jesus desires that his followers be known by prayer, so we do all we can to ensure that our times together are rich in Spirit-led and Spirit-empowered power. The Scriptures say that "the prayers of a righteous person are powerful and effective" (James 5:!6). We believe that through the righteousness of Chrit, our prayers can make practical differences in the lives of others around us. So we don't want to be a church that just says "we will pray for you" we want to be a church that prays for you "right here right now." So when you show up and have a need, don't be surprised if a few trusted disciples of Christ offer to lay hands on you and seek the LORD to meet your needs by his grace and provisions.
LIFE TOGETHER
The New Testament describes 62 times that the body of Christ will do life together in different was with "one another." The most common "one another" is love one another. But we also see serve one another, greet one another, submit to one another, confess sin to one another, and the list goes on. At Mosaic, we believe it's impossible to follow Jesus apart from a healthy local church where you do "life together." This means celebrating the good times, and walking through the tough times. Here we do life together...in all it's good, bad, ugly and beautiful parts. And YOU are invited to join us. We need you! And you need us!!
BIBLICAL LITERACY
The Bible is God's Holy Word, and through it we can discover the narrative of God's story of rescuing humanity through Jesus Christ. We also learn how to grow in wisdom, submit to authorities, love our families, work hard in our jobs, serve and bless our cities, care well for our bodies, give away our finances, take care of the less fortunate, use our possessions for the good of others, control our tongues, prepare wisely for the future, learn who to look for in a great spouse, how to raise healthy kids, and so much more. At Mosaic we want to teach you how to encounter the Word of God for yourself. To read it, hear it, study it and most of all, obey it.
RADICAL GENEROSITY
We are never more like God than when we are giving. Never. This is why it's so critical for us to make disciples at Mosaic who are continually learning how to keep those things God allows us to earn or have in an open hand. This begins with money (we teach disciples how to give generously of their finances to the local church and the Kingdom of God) but it extends to our possessions, encouraging words, and even forgiveness to those who have wounded us deeply. We want to be known as some of the most radical givers in our city. If you need something from us, and ask us for it, our first inclination will want to be "of course!" Because "God so loved the world, that HE gave...."
STRONG FAMILIES
We love families! Family that are large in size (we've had families with 9 children before) and families that are smaller (did you know that a "single" is a Family of one?). So whether you are a Family of One or a Family of 11, we want to strengthen your family unit. We want to equip you on how to care well for you family as you provide, protect and shepherd. We purposefully make the first part of our Sunday Worship Gathering a time where families with children can all come together to sing, pray, and take communion together (so Dad and Mom can help teach their children why worshipping Jesus is so important as a Family). We provide Men's studies and Women's studies to help strengthen your Family, as well as Student and Kids ministires. We are serious about coming alongside your family and helping you.
KINGDOM ORIENTATION
Jesus taught us that if we were to seek after the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, that everything we truly needed on this earth would be given to us. We believe the Kingdom of God happens when God gets his desires, or his ways. This can happen in a moment, and for certainly will happen at the end of this present age. As disciples of Jesus we are called to pray (and work) to see the "Kingdom come" now "on earth as it is in heaven." With this in mind, we ask ourselves questions like - "What does God think of this?" "How would this look if Jesus were completely in charge?" And we try to live out our lives, and the life of our chuch, with those things in mind. Because we love and value the Kingdom so much, we choose to work alongside other churches and Christ-centered groups who also desire to see the Kingdom come in our city and area. And it's happening...one day at a time.
