Originally from Arkansas, my husband Andy and I moved to Texas ten years ago for me to go grad school at Dallas Int’l University. Andy and I have been married for almost 15 years, and we have 2 fur-children. Now I work in Bible translation–I train translators all over the world to translate the Bible into their mother tongues with the Seed Company, and I help to create resources and helps for translators who are working on the Psalms and other biblical poetry with Cambridge Digital Bible Research.  As far as my work and ministry, I am most passionate about the First Testament and biblical Hebrew; my non-work interests include knitting/crocheting, baking, weightlifting, cycling, and making art of all kinds.  I also work and dabble a lot in oral storytelling, and I enjoy incorporating that into my teaching. My life goal can be summed up by the Westminster catechism: “The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.” Or even more simply–know God and make Him known!
